1. Whilst I will take every care of your dog while it is boarded, I can only take dogs at your own risk.
2. All dogs must be neutered & must have the usual yearly vaccinations which must include kennel cough. Vaccinations must be completed at least 2 weeks before boarding.
3. You must provide your dog’s vaccination certificate:
a. every time your dog boards at The Dog Hitch for holiday boarding
b. or yearly for day care dogs.
4. Dogs must be treated regularly for worms & fleas.
5. I cannot take any dogs that are are aggressive, not housetrained, incontinent or generally out of control.
6. Your dog must be in good health on arrival. The Dog Hitch has the right to turn away a sick pet.
7. Any medical or behavioural problems must be declared on the boarding form. Failure to do so may result in your dog having to be removed from The Dog Hitch by yourself or your emergency contact.
8. An emergency contact name & number must be provided. This must be someone capable of making a decision relating to your dog in an emergency. If your dog becomes sick whilst at The Dog Hitch, I will either attend my vets (Companion Care) or your own. I will always try & make contact first with either you or your emergency contact. Any vets fees incurred are payable by you.
9. Drop off & pick up will be at pre-arranged times only as I cannot guarantee to be available at any other times.
10. Earliest drop off is 7.30 am & latest pick up is 7.30 pm weekdays, 9.00 am & 7.30 pm Saturday & 10.00 am & 6.00 pm Sunday.
11. Boarding is charged at a daily rate and NOT by the number of nights ( ie arrival Sat & pick up the following Sat will be charged at 8 days.). Arrival & departure dates must be adhered to as I may have other bookings.
12. A deposit of 50% is required (holiday boarding only) before booking can be confirmed & your dog will also need to spend a trial day at The Dog Hitch to confirm suitability. Deposits are non refundable unless at least 6 weeks notice of cancellation is given.
